    TSR.........

I have bought a tubular manifold for 8V 1,8 Mk2 and its in the following piccy;-

I have a 10yr old jetex stainless exhaust which i'm gonna mate it to.

Looking at the connection pipe - it's got a flange on it which presumably has the bolt/spring fixings?

Can you supply a pipe to give me a plain connection pls?

As it happens the manifold is destined to be bolted to an engine from one of my other GTi's which is a 2L overbored TSR PB block, with PackA head/schrick cam.

I had a similar issue, I spoke with Milltek direct to get hold of the connecting pipe. And my god was it hard work. All being well, you might be able to get old of one.

Milltek will supply the connecting pipes but as stated can be a little hard work as obviously it is not front of there busy schedule but they will do it they charge 45 plus vat for the pipe and olive and bolts.

I just spoke with Milltek who advise they make these manifolds "only" for TSR now!
I'm advised that they will return a response to my email in due course!!

Milltek will make the parts you require for 45 plus vat. In future if you are requiring something urgently it is best to call us as we don't check here too often.

    Thanks for the reply.

Don't want to seem picky however..........this is the sequence of events so far;-

    1. Put query up here on Club GTi forum under the TSR section
    2. No reply
    3. Emailed Milltek
    4. No reply
    5. Phoned Milltek
    6. Told me they had my email and would reply
    7. Also told me they dont make the parts I needed for the retail market - Only exclusively for TSR
    8. Still no email from Milltek
    9. TSR tell me to ask Milltek ^^^

    Hardly good customer service eh?

I have to say that Milltek weren't particularly good when I wanted a similar part. I described it, they sent me the wrong one, sent it back, sent another one, got the wrong part again, I turned up at their premises unanounced (working in the area at the time), not amused, finally got the right part, pathetic excuses from them, i'm not interested.

This is not a good advert for either company really.

    Further Update:
Milltek came through with their promise, and the parts arrived via UPS delivery today - present and (look) correct!
    Cheers Milltek!!
