    As quoted earlier;

    "De-baging is for fags".

    and initiation rituals, i suppose. but what's the writers' view on removing badges?

    Nothing wrong with debadging, shows the lines of the car better & we all know that the mk1 has the best lines.

    I was going to debadge the grill, but went for a cl grill instead and keeping the VW badge.

    I dont like 4 lamps on the front as it looks too fussy so wanted the 2 lamp grill.

    I prefer to keep the badges, i really only think debadging is for people with 1 litre cars making them be something they are not.

    I see it a bit different, if I had a TT badge or 20vt thing I'd whip it straight off as I prefer a bit more of a stealth look.

    I have the original badges on my mk2 and never had an urge to remove them.

    LOL yeah thats well cool, probably better if you kept the 1.3 badge on and see peoples faces. I just hate the people who remove the badge off corsa's or BMW's 318's hoping people dont notice. My major hate is people adding badges like "turbo" then we all know its not a turbo !

    im sometimes tempted to debadge because mk3s are barely noticed anyway so it could have more suprise factor... esp funny with the tiny single pipe [:D]

    thought id do a photoshop

    before

    [IMG]

    and after

    think im going to get it done, i can always put them back, i like having the vw badge on the front but do think the back looks cleaner without it, plus most of the badged are pretty crap now anyway.
