do people debadge these days?

    I could afford it on all my cars but I wouldn't as it's not my taste, each to their own as it were. ;)

    It's not about anyone being ashamed of the badges, it just cleans up the lines of the car.

    Anyone that doesn't know it's a VW never will.

    I saw that the other day. It looks sooo wrong.

    just goes to show there is always a black sheep in the family :lol:

    Badges just collect polish/wax residue. Much easier to keep clean without.

    iv taken the vr badge off the back of my golf the same weekend i had everything done to it(zoust,tint, lowered and wheels)
    before that id only had the odd paxo n00be trying his luck but now every twit and there dog
    whats to get past me then cut me up WHY?
    they must think im a 'try hard' (name i use for peeps with 1l motors who try to be a f1 driver) and want to show me who's boss ?

    if i put it back on no dout id be left alone but the car looks so much better without it, i also coulor coded the vw badge on the boot black to match the rest of the car.
