    Wow, that looks like it's actually been dredged up from the sea. Does it have skinny side strips on it?

    If it's like most early mk2s the shell will be pretty solid under the grime! And the motor assuming it's not seized has so few electrics it should start up with little hassles. What are he plans? I'd keep it original as it's looked to have been fairly unmolested, are the p-slot centres with the car?

    managed to spend about 4 hours on her over the last couple of days

    jobs to date
    quick clean all over
    clean cut and polish roof
    all wheel arch brows removed
    door trim removed
    sill stickers removed

    under the dirt that is really dirty!, but good progress cleaning it up!

    Stick with it mate! lot of work but well worth it in the end! nice to see another mk2 kept alive:thumbup:

    Good effort, I really like the early ones. Looks like a nice project. I'd keep it OEM too it'll look lush when it's in its new crispy white paint.

    wow thats some work you have!

    Stick with it. What are the sills and 'a' pillars like behind the front wings?
