    After a week in cyprus and a week to recover - cracked on with the car again today - i am feeling the project is slowly gaining momentum as i am getting more cofident in what i am doing :)

    Very patient, I take it you are still checking measurements re bonnet and front panel fit??

    those are the bits I need to work on. The end of the batterybay and where the air intake sits on the opposite side. Did you fabricate or are they cut outs off another car?

    Slowly slowly mate!

    You will have more love for this than a man who bought a show car and never did anything to it! Getting your hands dirty is where the real Golf scene lies, think we sometimes forget that!

    Just had a cracking idea for your first sticker - 'built not bought'?? ;)
