    Wots the purple stuff in the bucket?? Is it welsh weather proof cement??????????? :lol: :lol:

    Feck knows what that purple stuff is?


    NO no water supply mate but im putting an external tap down below my veranda which will be a few steps up from the back garage door.

    That's the hard core down (looks like a cement/stone kind of base up close), Then the concrete floor to be pored on top tomorrow.

    i had the fun job of cutting the mesh for our foundations last night...sparks everywhere :lol:

    concrete is coming tomorrow :clap:

    Looking great matey. Having a warm, dry, spacious garage to work in makes all but the most hateful jobs a whole lot easier.

    Well after 1 & 1/4 Lorry loads it's in :o:

    EDIT: not having a rear soak-away as you can tell from the picture as the Inspector took one look at all the other garages & seen that their drainpipes were all emptying into the back lane so allowed us the same, but having a deep gravel pit in-between the retaining wall & the garage as a soak-away & will line the outside of the garage walls below ground level with gravel to also act as soak-away because of the water coming down my garden from veranda & steps.

    Just had a walk around on me floor after the rain stopped today & measured it up:


    Internal Dimensions: 29.5 ft X 15.5 ft [:D]


    EDIT: jbmg40 = and no cat prints that i can see :lol:(but then again it did p*ss down lastnight).


    EDIT 2: Damn you had to be right, just found 2 & iv'e never seen a cat around my garden?
