Stop messing around on here and go and put the engine back in that gorgeous looking mk2 Time and motivation can be a problem sometimes but your motor looks so nice you can't leave till next summer
Hi i know what you are going through i get that same feeling with my Lupo build which is not as intense as your Golf build but from one car freak to another your'e nearly there don't give up finish him/her and show him/her of to the rest of the vw world. Great build by the way.
Thanks mate Time frame was finished by february past which was dead handy and loads of time if I took an interest It does get a bit mad when the bloody thing starts to consume you with the everything you touch on it instead of a good build you are constantly thinking of ways to improve it upgrade tidy it ...build it to last forever! MELTED Hence the two push bikes are getting the better of the golf every time I go into the garage I end up 10 mile down the road I have A lupo Sport as well ...........and a spare 1.8t set up Been following your Lupo build and yes we are alike
Take the cover off of it and get cracking It's such a lovely build, and looks to have been done to a very high standard and well thought out, it would be a shame for it just to sit there and never get done.
Sort it out will yee!! You know its only a few days to get it all back together. Otherwise ill remind you every friday of your failure lol ill maybe even break my never again rule and bring you some buns IF you finish it
You know da bikes have taken over The hateful Dub is covered and the bike is king ...you can just see my new center caps lol Bike beats Dub ..Rip the Dub
He came...but no buns ..but ate mine and drank my tea ...stole a compression tester and slagged me Wee bike did well round trip 22 mile and only got puncture at the bottom of my street New tube tomorrow
Just don't sell the car - you've done all the hard work. Put it under the cover until you get tempted again - but don't sell it. I spent 3 years restoring my first car and wanted to give-up and sell many times. It was only when it was finished that I realised what a bad idea it would have been.
Instead of wasting all that time fixing the puncture on your bike a guy like you could have popped the engine back in lol Get on with it
Engine bay Wiring needs to go in for servo to go in for engine to go in and I'm not sure what way I'm sorting the wiring yet until I start working on it ...make it up as I go along once wiring is done its all down hill ...just can't be bothered
