Tried to work today got loads of snow here though, managed to get my wagon a mighty 1.2 km before getting well and truly stuck.

Managed to dig it out and back off the road so as not to block it.

    Gave up and walked home.

    Hows the weather treating you.

Just about managed to plough my way to work...literally...

Hopefully we`ll get the nod to go home soon, before it gets any worse. It`s dumping down big time now, and isn`t due to stop at all today...

    How Much Snow!

Just got to work only to find offices officially closed.

Glad I made the effort [:x]

Macclesfield and Congleton have a lot of snow. Nearly all schools closed. Roads are a bit iffy (side roads VERY iffy) although main problem is idiot drivers.

Snow tyres rock big time - something very satisfying about driving past a Range Rover that was stuck (albeit with big bling sports tyres fitted)

    Plus-side.......where's that sledge? [:D]

@leontdi. It's just starting here, south of the airport. Forecast is for snow non-stop all day and night.

it wasn't that bad this morning in york, didn't even have to de-ice, it was just snow, but i couldn't believe the main A road hadn't been gritted, you could barely see tarmac in the tyre tracks. I didn't get over 28mph for the first 10 miles....clowns...then some plank stopped dead to let everyone out at a junction, oh that's clever pal, cause a pile up why don't you....

Screwed me up for getting to work this mornin. Was told at the bus stop this mornin that the bus service for my route to work has been recalled back to depot due to buzzes aparantly sliding into bus shelters. Sky news are filming outside my flat.
Ya reckon it would be frowned upon by my boss if I went to the pub later?
Daytime telly is well rubbish, even with holly willoughby on it.

Few inches fallen in BBurn and its still snowing - glad i'm off work as there would be no way i'd be able to get up to Kendal - apparently the Lake District is nearly cut off!

I wouldn't even bother trying anyway, as for some reason the Octy is completely useless in the snow[:x]

Looks like it is set to hit Reading in the early evening. With the way that Reading handled the snow at Christmas, as soon as I see a flurry this afternoon i am gone home!!

Tried to move my track car project into the garage last night to find not only the battery flat ([:x]), but the inside of the windows heavily iced up, and frozen shut!! Going to try and get it into the garage tonight so that it can defrost!
