Most of it has gone from here, on the roads anyway. The big thaw has started... Shame, we had a couple of days where the ground was thick with snow and the sky really clear. it was like being at the top of the Alps again.

    Just brown slush everywhere now..

But TV just warned of 5-10cm's due tomorrow! Yay - of course I work from home-ish and only need to leave the house when I want to, or the diet coke level goes below 3ltrs.

    I'm enjoying this temperature.
2 to 3am going on patrol in -15c, sometimes I don't even bother with a coat.
    Honestly, it's refreshing.

Any easy jobs going in north norway?

4 inches today here. I woke up and it was snowing. At lunch time it was still snowing. Idiot council/government didn't bother to grit any of the roads I use (some are major B roads) so 4 inches became a problem (I assume it always is tbqfh although I wouldn't know;) ) and I had to tell my boss I couldn't get in again. Snows plus hills and ungritted roads dont mix.

More fun and games in the morning when we have ice to contend with - wooooo I love this weather![8(] At least the Golf is safely in the garage (and staying there until the snow is gone) which is currently a balmy 5degrees!!

    Lovely snow last night.
My opposite turned up half hour late today, "sorry, ran over a cyclist"[:s]
Got home, driveway slopes down towards carport.
Stopped fine but before parking in carport did a good minute in reverse foot on the floor.
No useful reason for that except it was fun.
Unfortunately it did polish the ice quite well......

I'm being told the thaw is only temporary and that it may drop cold with more snow around next weekend[:^(]
