Appreciating good design? Does it really bother you that much Gaz? I can afford it and I can afford to buy a 600 phone outright annually if I choose to. I can never comprehend why this bothers some people so much? I'll get half of this cost back after 12 months if I sell it. Anyway, enjoying my new iPhone whilst also retaining the ability to have a sense of humour allows me to make light of this. Hilarious!! Ive heard a few stories about the maps! My Mrs downloaded it last night on her 4s so i'll have a look tonight
Got mine Friday it's a lot smoother and faster than the 4 it replaced. The only things Iv noticed is that the keyboard is slightly lower when composing txts than it is in whatsapp so I keep missing the space bar Other than that it was definitely worth the upgrade
Well that being the case I apologise profusely. I am suitably impressed. I bow to your your financial superiority.
Just had a look at my contract. I only took a 12 month one out on my 4s which runs out next month....Hmmm....
I wouldn't be looking at Deako's phone purchases for evidence of obsessive behaviour... there are some things which he buys much more frequently There's also a case to be made that putting a lot of time and effort into moaning about new products, in which they claim to have little or no interest, is a bit of an obsession for some people... maybe they should focus on their own lives instead?
I've had iPhones since the 3G, has a look at the 5 this weekend, got to say is does feel very nice to hold (giggidy) however it just doesn't offer me enough to really want one. I ended up getting a free 4s and the latest iPad free for just 20 a month more than I paying now. Much better option IMO
I know, have seen the story. Every other pundit thought the license had expired which was the reasoning. However, its now come to light that Google wouldnt let Apple use the app for turn by turn nav, and it was that driving factor which pushed the development of apples mapping solution. They should have just continued to use Google Maps until 2013, and worked hard on the mapping data. There are plenty of 3rd party applications for navigation, so will never understand Apples decision on this.
This just hit the rumour sites... http://www.macrumors.com/2012/09/28/tim-cook-publishes-open-letter-on-maps-for-ios-6/
