well as you know the head gasket went and when i replaced it i lost compresion on 3 pistons! well i now know why its fuxed! bent most of the valves on the head but it only seems to be 2 bent not 3 so am still confused about the 3rd one now but will figure it out later. hows richgits car doing now anyway?
i hate to tell you this, but two valves isn't "most" of them. and i'm sure a mechanic of your ability will have a 20v in your G60 jetta in no time...
no i am thinking of what engine to put in at a later date. and i know 2 valves aint most of them but sumin has to be up with the other ones too
But even so, as far as i was aware, and from what people have told me, the valves can never impact with the pistons on an 8v.
yep, 8v won't ever touch. tsc tried enough times, and i'm tried on my 2 spares. must be the 13:1 compression ratio you're running on your 20v turbo'd g60
Yup, thats right, the 8v is a non-interference engine, so you shouldnt have bent any valves, unless you are running a higher lift cam that is, then there is a possibility you can.
right i will take pics just to shut you the fux up!!!!! brb may have a prob uploading them so bare with me! and who said it was a 20v g60?????? i asked how easy it is to fit one cos i like the idea of this engine in my car!!!!!
