jetta update

so had a gti engine in it, swapped it for a g60 which broke, but instead of sticking the gti engine back in went 2 the trouble of sticking a w*** 1.6 in it my man u r a genius

 

man! it's a 1.3, not a 1.6

 

nice decistion, thats what id have done. i think that if u ballpoo atleast make it believable , if it ant id love 2 see pics of the G60 conversion if i did a conversion id have taken pics.

it was a gti that you paid to have convered to a g60 (according to other thread) but the pistons were worn to hell so you took it out and fitted a 1.3....

i never said it was a GTI i wish it was but has never been nor will ever be a GTI as this engine is comen as f**k so building sumin different it wont be a GTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

o and as for this "G60 conversion" that never worked either it was going to but after putting the engine in it lost all compresion so ran poote and am getting sick of this 163mph crud also either you listen or you dont but am not going to repeate this again!

its not a GTI its always had a carb on it and its a VW 1990 Jetta 1600 TX!!
and if i have EVER said it was a GTI then how come the engine i took out went back in and its still a 1600!

and its my mates POLO thats got a 1300 engine in that could probably take on most of the standard GTI's

 

the engine in the pic you posted is clearly a 1.3

 

doughtfull even the log book says its a 1600 TX

 

how do i find out whats in it then?
aint got the log book back yet but the old one said it was a 1600 TX

 

defo 1.3 without a shadow of a doubt...

only 1.3 had dizzy in side of cylinder head
only 1.3 had exhaust manifold at front

The only way they will bend is if your pistons magically detach themselves from the conrods through terminal gudgeon pin failure and smash into your cylinder head. Which actually sounds like one of your stories.
