    sits well dont it

mirrors are a bit touch and go for me,but check how well the bumper/wheels arches/side skirts fit [:D]

its all about the look you wanna go for i suppose?

and if you do decide on the karmann kit, stay away from the fibreglass copys! or you may as well try and make mk2 bumpers look good.

will pay decent money for the plastic vw kits though...

certainly similar but the car i saw actually had perfect looking mk2 big bumpers may have been a retro fit or a one off

i agree with what riley says - i've found its most often called a clipper kit though

see my sig - only with no bumpers, 15x7 ET13 sit perfect in the arches

Those mk1's look pretty cool, the m3 skirts don't look quite right though.

I've got a clipper kit but I've never got round to fitting it.

I don't like the skirts either, but the front end looks OK. Andy, I think yours looks fine as it is. Just go for some different rims.

i think big bumpers look dead good on mk1's, there was a lovely mk1 caddy in a vw mag ages ago, with jetta big bumpers on it, looked really nice

dont know how you'd fit them though... useful of me :)

    cheers

incidentaly does anyone know what wiper arm this is? i'm struggling to find one - ones ive tried (off the back of a newish mondeo and single wiper from a mk2 golf) have a larger splined fitment than a mk1 fitment

    cheers
