darren w what bumpers are they and where do they come from they are so much smoother than those pictured in rileys pic and i have to say they look perfect

the one featured in Rileys pic has the Clipper bumper on it, which has been smoothed

the other ones are std 16v big bumpers

and they all look horrible  , std bumpers are the best on the mk1 [:D]

aye,the bumper in the pic i posted had had the number plate panel taken off,and the lower spoiler colour coded [xx(] to that.

i dont know how people can think mk2 bumpers look good on a mk1,the edges/lines dont match up correctly, bumper isnt same curve/shape as the mk1 arch!

all my opinion of course

the rear wipes from fiats do, don't they? think thats what folk use for the flat look on the rears...

find a scrappy/mate with a fiat and try it out [:D]

I've taken my big bumpers off that come standard on my mk1, the wings are pressed like the mk2 big bumper wings, so the big bumper mounts fit.

They are lying in the yard with the mounts ;) not sure how the mounts would fit normal mk1 wings though.

this is burnished gold metallic, hard to be sure with diffarent screen settings etc i know... [:$] the code is LE1Z.

ps:the code may be on a sticker in the boot,on the inside of rear panel,or is it on the metal plate in the engine bay on a mk1,i forgets [:$]

You can buy big bumpers for mk1's but they are made of fibreglass and I have yet to see a set that are decent quality.
Here is a link to the R&A design site for the big bumper kit click
Personally I think it looks nasty.

They also do the RS big bumpers, which I actually quite like.

But the best kit with big bumpers that you can get for mk1's is the clipper kit, just make sure you get an original kit not a fibreglass copy. This kit suits the lines of the car best and just looks right. :)

in fact, fuck any non original bumpers on mk1's.

i wish i was having a dream,i wish i could wake up from this dream and instead of having the piece of shit corrado sat in the garage,i wish the mk1 was in its place [:^(] [:^(] [:^(] [:x] [8-}]
