They're the same switch just with a different pic on the front!! I'm just a little over fussy when it comes to my car!
The sunroof switches on Discoverys are the same/similar to the polo open air ones, i know people who have got them for a quid on ebay and then sold them for 25+quid to vw owners
Yeah I've seen it, preffered the polo one, if anyone does want a discovery one I know the original prt no. is AMR2471 really common switch I got one from a discovery 189 or something similar, pocketed from a breakers, just been reading through this thread a few people have got them & didn't know what they were!
Any idea how to get the corrado loom to work with this audi motor? The corrado loom has like 10 connectors on the sunroof end.
I don't think it is as simple as that. In the corrado the whole interior light and sunroof switch is one complete unit which this loom connected to, and the motors plugs into this unit.
on the early one theres a black ignition live wire to the switch, and there are 3 wires from the switch to the motor, one of which is an earth which branches off to ground. D/5 - blk - switch pin 3 (ignition live) switch: 1 - red - motor pin 2 2 - brn - motor pin 3 and earth 4 - blu - motor pin 1 on the later one its similar, couple extra wires on the roof control module on the motor. D/5 - blk - switch pin 3 (ignition live) L/7 - red - motor pin 5 (permanent live) switch: 1 - yel - motor pin 2 2 - blu - motor pin 1 4 - grn - motor pin 3 motor: 4 - red/yel - door lock system (total closure) 6 - brn - earth
