Just a quick update on these, we've got two prototypes on the way, one is a "straight through" style box, with OE style tailpipes, the other is a "baffled" type box , with OE tailpipes, we'll try these on one of our fleet of Mk2's and report back, maybe with some videos too?

    Any updates on availability?

    Hi there BBT!!

Do you have any updates as to when these Stainless OEM back boxes will be available and the price? Also, will you be supplying the centre and front silencers in stainless and if so how much?

    Cheers Alpenweiss2 :)

we have two designs of back box in our grubby mitts, just waiting for our test car to make an appearance so we can do a sound comparison, and go from there

We have had a sample of these through and trial tested one - now on the car for further tests.
Sounds really nice, hopefully get the first batch soon.

    Hi all!

Here are some pics.. we have one fitted to a friends car on test at the moment. Sadly he has no video camera - but has kindly snapped a few pics.

His words "just a bit deeper and throatier than standard , more noticeable on accelaration obviously , sounds lovely with the drilled airbox and k and n"

Looks spot on, would be a good finishing touch to the Mk2 once the 20vt goes in.

Stealth look is the plan, just a 'standard' Mk2 GTI but a lot quicker! Should last better than the standard Civic backbox too which sh@t itself with 250bhp going through it

Yep stealth look for me too :-)

I'll be keeping the Ra's on there for the standard look.

The only give away will be the turbo noise :o [:D]
