Looks lovely, I wish I had the patience to do something like this.

The rad and expansion tank looks like a BMW item.

Thanks all, it's been a while since I updated the thread and alot has happened
so it may be a long update sorry [:$]

One of the 1st things i did was hunt a set of these down
    [IMG]

this was quickly followed by some CL spats to replace the GL ones that where on the car,
after these to small bits, the wheels where started, a good friend of mine from over on
VAG-h20 stepped in to help me out of a deep hole, and started the polishing of my rims.
As he didn't in is own time I told him no rush, all i can say is 6 months later and a lot of
swearing, and name calling hehehe they cam back looking like this
    [IMG]
    no to much stretch either
    [IMG]

O' and he said he will never do another set of them as long as he lives:lol:

Then came the last big outlay on the car, the interior, I had a good carrado back bench which
i picked up for 30quid with all the fixings. Then i came across some 944 turbo fronts which had
just had a refurb about 18 months ago, so PSI made me some subframes for them, you can see
how tall they are against my old seats in this picture
    [IMG]

At the same time PSI lowered the car a touch to make it sit better
    [IMG]

With the new seats in it was off to these guys http://www.premiercartrim.co.uk/ I had seen loads of the work and it was all mint!
Well what can I say 3 weeks later it came back to me and WOW!

looks very orange in the photos but it's not that bright[:$] just my bad photo skills

They had done an outstanding job, which included smoothing the bottom of the door cards out
and building the carrado rear bench out to fit the mk2, they had even done some matching
matts and a bag for the steering wheel, as it's a snap off one.

I also Found two more little bits for it and thought they would be a nice touch for it, a de-locked
plinth and a pass. side wing mirror blank. Only thing left now and that was a good clean for it's
first major show outing at UDs last weekend. So after another friend showed me how to clay
    the car it was done.

    plinth

Simon, looks fantastic. Got to be one of my favourite Mk2 VR6s.
