Pepper or Rage ?

I don't really like over produced stuff dont get me wrong. Makes it more commercial but ruins it. Like Notorious BIG. Freestyle stuff can be amazing, on record a bit crap. I think artistic freedom must have a lot to do with it too. Radiohead have more influence over their sound than the producer. Not the case for most bands.

 

What do you do mate?

 

Yeah music with heavy production can sound awful but then again if it's used properly and honestly, and reproduced on the live shows then I think it can make a band sound great.

BTW Korn should have quit after Issues, IMO.

Foo Fighters!!! Second album million times better than the first and it's nothing to do with production, the songs are just a hell of a lot better IMO.

 

should have quit after his first solo album then shouldnt he. Prime example really. So much better than all the dire follow ups.
