should i drill my airbox?

    barny...wots that big thing on top of your inlet manifold by where the filler cap is???

    right, i've got the bottom half of a air box which i can play with ... should i try something as suggested above? any other ideas? thanx :p

    Drilling it's for puffs ;) , what you need to do is remove the snorkel bit, then get an air hacksaw and cut a grin shape in the inner wing side of the 'box, following the lines of the oval hole left from taking the snorkel out :lol:

    right, i've drilled sh!t loads of holes in the wing side of the box. been out and i wasn't totaly sure if it sounds different [:s] i think there is a difference though... someone else has said it does sounds louder, but also less powerfull? theres more noise but sounds as if i aint booting it as much as before? hmmm

    also sounds silly but would i be losing the 'ram air' that goes into the box as it can escape from the holes? meaning i have less air than before?

    thats why i was asking now :lol: if its goin to do worse i'll chuck the other back on :p :lol:

    i'm hoping to get more 2moro anyway as i wasn't sure about my last go! we'll see ;)

    Dont bother unless you have an old airbox to play with. It doesn't make any difference.

    i guess u mean a airbox 2 buy? i bought mine from a german and swedish breakers in blackwood for a fiver, i doubt they would be any more in a similar place? (just the bottom half of the box)
