PLEASE Can we all stop all the inane shit that gets posted lately.....

I think I have a reasonably high tolerance level for the banter etc on here but of late some stuff has just been a total waste of time. It's mostly the night-time stuff. If I were a mod I'd be pulling my hair out. Every morning when the mods log on and see the front page of general full of dross again....they must wonder why they bother. And as for 'don't open it if you don't want to read it...bollocks...past a certain time of night every thread is getting turned into the same old drivel.

If you're bored and lonely and feel the need to cyber talk to some other geek in the middle of the night, use msn or a chat room somewhere. Or in most cases, ring the fucker. You all seem to have each others numbers. But STOP FILLING THE FORUM WITH SHITE.

As a wee suggestion, and to be honest it's only really a handful of nobends causing the problem, why not just resurrect or start again the 'Night Owl' Thread.....and let it run and run each night, so the rest of us don't have to read all this crap in the morning or whenever.

Will the last person to leave turn the lights out. Join the queue for the exit behind me.

There's 98% of sound, good people on here, and about 2% of relatively new people spoiling it for the rest of us.

No names needed.I think everyone knows who I'm thinking about (and it's not any personal vendetta thing by any means.)

    In my opinion -

Please create a 'night owl' thread for the junk and stay there, or go elsewhere. Before the rest of us do. Seriously.

And before anyone asks, I have absolutely no idea how this got over 500 views already.....

Yup, I thought we'd stopped having daily threads wingeing about other posts.

    It seems not.

hmmm what can i say [:$]

anyway, yeah i'm sure it must be a apin in the ass for the mods, i think that night owl idea is an ace one, but going by what everyones posting, i think that too wuld get deleted everymorning [:$]

then people need to sit up and take responsibility of what they are posting! The rules are not that hard or that stern, but a bit of thinking would go a long way ;)

and it would stop people coming back to the mods and moaning why this went or why that went, when clearly they know why and are just playing the ass.

Yes, but that would only be one thread for the mods to lock/delete on a morning, rather than X no. of threads.

it is easier to delete a post in a thread rather than the thread. if the thread is worth keeping. ;)

    Right then.

When I wake up in the morning, if its not already done, I'll post a night owl thread. All poo can go in there.

See if that tidies the place up a little bit more....

I thought we`d seen the end of the complaining ? [8(]

Anyway - my moaning thread was deleted so I presume I`m one of the `guilty` party ? [:[]

I don't recall a day gone by when you haven't been guilty of something or other...
