I dont mind but I think because its a car related forum the car related sections should be at the top and the general should be at the bottom as an extra to the forum. If you are going to have a general section then I think the subjects are going to be wide ranging so theres got to be tolerance of subjects, some are a little too touchy. Subjects should be locked and words censored but the body of the thread should stay, why would a mod be more broad minded than me???????

The fact is that if people want to post there then thats how it is.

Quite a few have said that without the general section the forum wouldnt be worth using, I thought you were one of those people from previous posts about the future of the general section

I enjoy using the general section and I would visit the forum far less if it was removed.

There is a lot of sh*t in it yes, but I just scan past the crap.

If it doesnt look interesting, I dont read it.

 

exactly den this forums problem is not stupid pointless threads but people who like to stir poo up, thats what causes problems for the forum and the mods.

A veritable Pandora's box this one, ay?

I expect there are lots of different sorts of people on here. I came on originally as I found a Mk1 GTi down the pub and wanted to know more about it. All my questions were answered very quickly and very helpfully - I didn't by it in the end, got myself one complete nightmare of a mk2 16v a couple of weeks ago and haven't slept since (not sure who to thank for that). I've stayed on here because there are lots of very funny and very helpful people here. I like both of those things - they are fun and they help a lot. Why don't we all just chill out a little, the dynamic is bound to change - tis the way of things, wax on, wax off.
