Have to mention what a great help they were in helping putting my 2l conversion on my mk2 gti on the road. I was working with a tight budget and was impressed with the level of service and helpfullness from the guys there.
Will definately use them again and would rec them to anyone with a vw.

Andy and Miles are great chaps and do great work. I've had mine done by them for 2 1/2 years now and they also take care of my track car.
Will be chatting to them this week re throttle bodies [:D]

i must say they do know what they are talking about but unfortunately i know a few people who have been completely shafted by them, they seem to me to be a bit money hungry if im honest and i have seen a few examples of what an only be descibed as 'lazy workmanship' ,
    just my opinion obviously

    RE; Storm and csutom code...
do they do the re-map on site or do they have to send the ecu off?

i was considering a stage 1 there but i can get better figures from Revo in Henley.

    thanks, Luke

Only good feedback for Storm from me. I found them to be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They weren't money grabbing either because they couldn't do what I was enquiring about and they didn't pretend they could, just explained exactly why it wouldn't work without me feeling like a tit! Excellent company :)

Im coming from Essex though so ive a bit of a journey, and when i called them y/day they said they might not be able to do it as they might have to send the ECU away.

I'll let you know how it goes though :)

shouldnt they be able to tell over the phone if they need to send it away? what do they need to know (so you can save yourself some grief)

basically, if you have a communication port to your ECU then they can give it a remap, if you dont then they have to solder a chip into the ECU. its the soldering that they dont do on site.
