I have a ODB2 port, but mine wasnt able to be flashed.

As far as I'm aware, its the engine code that matters.

I have an early AGU, and it needs soldering. My friend has the final run of AGU's and his was fine apparently.

Anything newer than 2000 and I cant see it being a problem. Whats your engine code?

oh, keeping it on topic, the guys down there are nice enough.

Miles was who i dealt with, while i was there he checked (and found!) a few faults via VAGCOM which none i really needed to worry about, checked some stuff in the engine bay, chatted away to me to let me know what he was doing, and took everything apart to show me what i needed to do when i got the car home to get the ECU out :)

its not uncommon for people to ask to see the A3.. when i was phoning around about getting my A3 20vt remapped everyone wanted to see it first, one mobile guy even came and saw me just to tell if its drive by wire or not

    Fingers and toes crossed then.

Think if you drive the fury any longer you'll get irreparable hearing damage.

Why don't you do him a favor and put a proper exhaust on it. lol

i've already got rid of all the rubbish, put decent music in it and attempted to stop the passive smoking with a nice new air freshner.

I think its beyond recovery though tbh lol
