    causes of wheelspin

    1) rubbish tyres
    2) wrong tyre pressures
    3) wheel alignment
    4) poor condition suspension components-dampers, bushes etc
    5) poor driving
    6) loads of power
    7) low ratio gearbox.

run through the first 4 then get back to us

    1) All tyres are about 2 months old. Goodyear eagle F1's front and rear
    2) I put 32psi all round
    3) I myself haven had it tracked, but 6 months ago it had a full suspension setup at "Stealth racing".
    4) Its on 2 year old Koni adjustables all round, with eibach springs. Eibach anti-roll bars f+r. Not sure on the condition of anything else, although its only just gone through the MOT and there are no clunks or knocks from it.
    5) I am the stig!!!;)
    6) Spec is on the first post. Maybe 130bhp?
    7) Yes, very low ratio's! Havent yet looked at the number though.

They are on the softest setting there is.

I was thinking about stiffening them up to make it more controllable...

Is it okay to have the fronts harder than the back?
