    My Mate Bargate's

My Engine spec is based on Paul's apart from his is a 9A not an ABF so it will be interesting what results i get, Paul is getting 240bhp @ flywheel the 90mm trumpets and new Pro-Alloy inlet manifold he uses give an extra 15bhp
And all that's running on 10 year old Weber Alpha Injection & Webcon.

    He ran a 12.00 sec dead 3 weeks ago @ 120mph with only a 2 sec 60ft. usually runs 1.8 sec 60ft.

The last week broke the 020 box on his first run [:s]

no diff just the standard 8v gti box on 140k lol 40k of that was on the 20vt lump so it did good

i think diffs are a bit overpriced tbh id love one in the 02a but way to expensive

020's are ok if you put a diff in, that's the weak link in them.

if you get a new box get one with a Cabrio 2nd gear again.

Mine is a ACD 020 and has a 2.12 2nd but would be better with a 1.94 cabrio 2nd, and my final drive is 3.94

    and 100mm drive flanges.

    Update

Just fitted the Jenvey 45mm DTH Throttle bodies to the Engine.

Looks like they will just clear the Bonnett, don't know about Air filters though.

Then fuel lines connected, ready for filter and FPR fitting .

The throttle cable needs a spacer fitting to get a straight pull on the Throttle mechanism
    [IMG]
The standard throttle cable fits fine

ive a AYK 02a to put in it now not sure what it will be like guessing a little bit better up top

ive got a scrap cabby gearbox if you want it i stopped using it due to a bearing noise so dont even think the diff is that bad tbh

Hmm yes don't think it will grip the cable stop the other way if it pulli north to south anti-clockwise ? [:s]

think it would be a case of Backwarditis ! resulting in B*starditis

i think spacer is the best looking at the pix of other installs.
