when can you bring that car along for a night out? been running that state of tune since about october wasnt it?

 

Last year I was running a slightly different set-up. Where I used a log manifold. This was OK except the motor was experiencing high EGTs at high loads and rpm.
Thanks to the chaps at Essex turbo and a redesign and replacement of my orginal log manifold to a tubular system it can be pushed harder and more reliably now!
Here are a few shots of some of the changes.

Bring out? You mean to Essex? Anytime you down in the West London feel free to drop by.
With the cost of super unleaded I very seldom drive the car to work. For that task my lil auto Starlet EP91 Turbo does the trick.
Perhaps on one of my seldom trips we can arrange a visit...

 

well we normally go out on saturday nights but it shouldnt be a problem moving that to a friday after work.

we all work around basildon anyway. meet up (maybe at dick turpin) for a drink or something and generally chat rubbish about cars. on a friday night there isnt usually much to do car wise (ie other meets etc to go have a look at other cars) but there are always b-roads to abuse

 

Ok Matt. We will see next time the car is taken to work.
I may do this next week following some calibration tweaks to suit the new hardware.

just watched the video, all documentary stylee, where is the rest of documentary the on road tests?

 

Soon as the car is MOT'd and I am happy with drivability on this new hardware I will summarise and compare with the original first post.
