    Jodi from crossfit.

Body off baywatch, face off crimewatch.

Perfect form and hard as nails though.

Used to do step ups but realised they are a bit gay.
Running up about 200 steps on my trail run does the trick though

    No I run without weights.
I used dumbells when I used to do them in the gym.

Now now Prof, just because your are agrophobic, doesn't mean that everyone else has to remain locked up inside all the time.
I saw a lovely owl on last nights dusk run and broke 30 mins for approx 7km of pretty full on trail track.

See weightlifting is all well and good, but unless you compete, your results are never measured. With running, it's nice to beat a load of other people. Notice you remained ever so quiet (while others made positive comments) when I managed 5th out of 700 in a 10km race after four months of running.

Now I can't for a second imagine why....

See you can be strong AND fit. The two are not mutually exclusive.

No no Prof, you just can't stand anyone else getting one up on you in anything to do with fitness.
Hence the hilarious PMs I've had when you start getting all stroppy over anything gym/fitness related.

Come on, admit it - when you aren't centre of attention in the "what to eat/how to train" threads, you get all huffy.

Just like most people do when they are about 4.

Getting one up on me? Is this a competition?

I'm attempting to help some lads look less like homer simpson in their pants, didn't realise it was some kind of race for points?

Neither did I but if someone questions you or disagrees, you blast them big time.
It's quite funny really and glad it's not just me that notices.

i point out the quickest routes to their goals, hate to see people wasting their time and not getting the results they otherwise would

I'm sure I've read that about 7 times now, in one thread or another  .

Chill, bro. No-one's out to win any popularity contests here, just helping one another out.

    So why this then?

I agree with much of what you say but there are OTHER ways of keeping in shape/fit other than Berardi eating and a very rigid routine. Your way works. My way works. Pete's way works. Dan's way works, etc, etc, ad infinitum.

your comment about 200 steps on a trail run is a completely different exercise, I didn't understand how they could be compared
