I see some older pics of my engine are on the first page so I thought I would throw up a few updated ones.

    Damn Chris!
Been reading lots and lots on those old race-engines, but I've never seen the name MTK come by once. There's so ******* much info on this site that's nowhere else to be found.

    Awesome!

Frechem, you have a thread on your car?
And how do you like the TWM's? Those are the S2000's, right?

    f*** about, that's gorgeous...

I can add this, nothing special you may think, it's not even a VW engine, merely a Duratec:

A fully "built" Duratec though, JE pistons, Cat Rods, Cat Cams, KMS management, handbuilt exhuast manifold to tailpipe...

Best bit though, is that it lives in this:

Here is a semi-build thread on my car: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4900673-frechem-s-winter-project-build-thread

and here is a recent photo shoot: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5055370-One-of-the-dopest-Alpine-White-Mk2-s-Stateside...

I like the TWMs very much. I had Jenveys before and am happy I made the switch. They are the 2000 series btw.

Had been looking at the Jenvey's for a while, till some one told me to go TWM. Now I keep hearing better and better things bout the TWM TB's, so I guess that's the route I'm gonna take as well.

Thanks for the info, gonna read through the thread now.

The TWM's were flow tested on here a while back were'nt they compared to the DTH jenveys..

I dont remember the result numbers, but do recall the TWM's did'nt do so well

I remember that too Jenvey DTH produced the better figures, the TWM were 45mm and had a 'step' from the machining, if they where 50mm this would/could not have been there?

you would need some sort of motor to warrant 50mm throttle bores! yowza!

the original jenveys before my involvement were 48mm but we discussed it and changed them down to 45's and can always bore them up to suit now.
