Looks great! I wasn't planning to go to Inters, but if I finish moving workshops on Sat I might have to nip up on Sunday to look at the Kamei p*rn!
Yes had quite a bit of interest but will have to see if anything comes from it. One guy seemed very keen. Need to finisher her off asap. Once the engine is back from the dyno it can be dropped straight in. Then need to set the suspension and brakes back up and do some testing. Great to see your replica buzzing around the track, like i said to you on the day it could have been the 70's again. As usual i did take any photos from the day but i'm sure some will turn up on the net like the one above. Great see everyone at inters and also meet some new people but terrible shame about the accident. Mike, hope your trip home wasnt as bad as the one up!!!!!
When you were on 15" wheels you had a certain length of roll center extenders on the hub. Now that you are on 17" wheels did you extended the roll center extenders towards the extra space that 17" wheels offer or did you leave it as it was with 15" wheels? If you did extended them, did you have any issues with bump steer? Did you correct it? Fabulus looking car you have there mate!
As i have not set the geometry up yet i dont honestly know where we will stand. Im hoping that i can get the car back to the original ride hight if not a little lower so hopefully there is enough scope in the set up to realign everything.
This is looking awesome now Nick. Clocked it at Inters and had a mighty good look around. How you getting on with the motor now? Can't wait to see it out on track again.
Thanks bud, its getting there now. Been so busy that the new motor still hasn't been put back in yet. Its all built up though so will aim to have it complete and back on track soon.
