Love this Mk1. Watching that video at the start of the thread was gutting. Did he hit Steved who is a member on here ? It looked like his Mk3 ?

 

Yes this was me, a strange accident caused by a sudden loss of power from the Escort then the Focus jammed on his brakes then followed by me trying not to hit anything.

 

Yea it looked unfortunate for the both of you. Did you manage to get your MK3 fixed ?

 

Yeh lucky for us we had a 4 hour wait for race 2 so we managed to repair the stub axle and get out for the next race

This was sold many moons ago !

 

This car is was sold unfortunately! Sad to see it go but with it was time to move on.

 

Have you heard anything if it since you sold it? Just wondering if it's still racing or if it's gone a different direction.

The new owner is finishing off a few things from the rebuild and then just using it as a track toy I believe. It wont race again.

How do you find the driving experience in comparison? Must be a pretty epic machine that Seat.

There is no comparison Gurds, two very different beasts. The mechanical grip from the Toledo is unreal.

 

Due to upgrades and change of direction, loads of parts up for grabs from my BTCC toledo and motorsport parts, just putting them up for sale on ebay now.
