Paul, Is this a 1.8T? What is your spark plug/coil setup like? I have 4 wires on my 4Motion. 2 earths, 1 Live and 1 trigger. Check that you have 12V on the Blue/Yellow at the MAF.
ITS WORKING ..... yes mat 1.8t Have not found a permant solution but T14a pin 7 goes to g1 pin7 if i probed this with a earth it will fire but if it not probed can i just run this off the main earth block
Hmm, Why wont my G1/8 work then Should i really be running T14A/7 to G1/7? I currently have it as a chassis earth. Edit, Hang on! G1/7is not an earth anyway! G1/07, Overrun Cutoff Valve, G60 Difigant ECU Power, Overrun Cutoff Relay, ECU Relay Brown/White (Carb only) or Black/White (G60 only) You should not be running an earth to that pin.
only followed both guides on here :S that said T14A/7 goes to g1 pin 7 :S got the relay in location 3 relay 30/32 ?
My relay stuff is fine, using a 109 though as I get a fault code with a 32. Dont seem to get power on G1/8 though for some reason. I will have to check the fusebox over.
I have and it works fine like that, This is how it currently is running. It it would be to use G1/8 though as it is fused.
noooooo! T14a/7 is the main earth for all the coilpacks/spark units. G1/7 is a reference live feed from the 30 relay, or on the vr6 its the earth trigger for the ecu relay. its never an earth for anything! no wonder it didnt work where did you see T14a/7 goes to G1/7? just to add the fault code with 30/32 relay isnt an issue, the only reason i recommend 30 relay is its cheaper from vw and easier to get in a pinch from the scrappy
just a quick one need to add a speed sensor for the gear box i persume switched live and earth is needed but does anyone one know what pin location is need on the fusebox i am guess its in F G1 or G2
its when you realise this whole forum is a product of your damaged psyche that you should worry on the mk3 the speedo sender gets power from the coil live to G1/4, G2/4 would be ok too or the ecu/ign live feeds you already have to the T14 plug. you could tap into the ign live pin on the reverse switch for an easy location as well
