    Micky, why? I couldnt personally live with paint on the inside. Id be constantly worrying about it flaking off and blocking the pick-up pipe. I can see rust?? where the crank bearings go. If so, then no doubt there will be rust in the block that has been painted over.
    My 2 pence, start again mate. I just wouldnt risk it.

    My 16v race car had internal piant.. But applied with a very fine brush over 3-4 days properly prepped.

    F#@k it, dont worry about it mate. I know it will be a chore starting again, but im sure most would agree that its not really needed in this engine and not worth the risk mate. Give one of your lads a little overtime. ;)

    Ok so that's how it's supposed to be done ! Now you tell me when I've already done it badly apparently. Baked it on with the space heater it's rock solid and won't be flaking anytime soon me thinks .
    Looks lovely mine will look as good soon maybe ?

    Not me mate. Not needed in my case. Further more, I dont want to see the inside of my engine for a long time! lol

    I prepared the block very well degreasing ,washing ,rust treatment primer ,washing ,drying very well and then painting and baking.

    That's not whats in question though.. Seriously though. It needs stripping and totally removing. It cant be used as it is..

    I've got a ltr of paint so I can do it again but what's so bad ? To thicker layer and you think it'll peel ?

    So are you telling me to clean all the machined surfaces ? This is going to be done on Monday .
    Or you reckon everything's got to come off ? Painted to thick ?
