    My advice would be to start again.

    Removing the paint from the machined surfaces will be very difficult. Especially the oil squirters..

    Looks very thick in places, yes.

    Strip it totally Micky and start again. Dont bother painting the inside, its not needed in your engine and wont benefit you. Just paint the outside with some nice Granville engine paint. Nice and simple mate. :thumbup:

    U got a big acid bath at work mike? would be ideal... doin this by hand or at home aint gonna be fun!

    Good luck with it mate, but i defo agree with these guys, take it back to the bare block and start again (on the outside only haha).. scares the hell outta me thinking about bits flaking or whatever. oil doesnt like gettin contaminated!
