thanks m8 but I am from Spain [:^(]

I have a couple of questions about KR injectors:

    1. does anyone know about the injectors' inner micro-filter??

    2. what O-RINGS should I buy? I mean, what size, or...?

Hi. I have just pulled out the injectors after a 15seconds drive and any of them were leaking. I removed one of them from it's fuel line and (almost) no fuel fell out of it !! :-|

I have found that the injectors I bought are not the same as KR ones!!! they don't have an o-ring on it's lower section (once in the manifold so you understand what I mean), and if I put it in the engine, it seems loose and freely of movement when I play with the fuel rail !!?

any help.. please... if you reply now, I can go to the car and replace all of them

    then purchased injector's part number is: 0 437 502 023 (014)

    thanks for looking :)

the system will pressure up instantly,15 seconds is plenty of time to have pressure, when you take one of the lines off the metering head it should spurt everywhere, bit like opening a bottle of pop that youve shook a few times

even in a stone cold engine? I mean, does the fuel accumulator work in cold engine too?

stone cold engine will still have fuel in the lines, but not so much pressure. depends how healthy the accumulator/non-return valve is, and exactly how long you leave it!

I still got a wee spray on my 16v after it had been sat for a month

    this is what I did:

    started the car
moved about 20meters (~15 seconds with engine on=
    stopped engine
and about 15 minutes later, I pulled an injector and unbolted it from it's fuel line. there was some fuel going out of it, but only about 5ml... and not pressurized at all.

I need to say that my fuel accumulator is new, has done only 15.000km...

sorry, I have edited my last post. I kept the engine on for 15 seconds, and unscrewed the injector after 15minutes since the engine was shuted off.

I may try to put the 'new' injectors in my c this afternoon and see how they work :)

edit: I may do the fuel delivery test as well :) (definately not [:D] too much work for a monday afternoon after 8hrs spent in my job [:D])

hey, one year later, still the same problem... with warm engine, after more than ... 10 minutes of stopping the engine, it gets HARD to start... and when it starts, it keeps idling like crap for about 10 seconds... like on 3 cylinders... then it runs fine.

    to sum up:
    -injector seals OK
    -co OK
    -fuel pressure tested, OK
    -fuel accumulator brand new
    -both fuel pumps OK
    -fuel filter OK
-no leaking injectors (checked today :( )

so today I pulled out all injectors after having had the car parked for about 1 or 2 hours or so, and none of them were leaking. Btw, I dropped an injector o-ring (the small one) into a cylinder  but nothing has happened .

    I'm really going mad....

by the way, all spark plugs had a good colour EXCEPT cylinder n1's one, which was really black [xx(] does that mean that this cylinder is running rich? May it be due to that injector not having a good cone spray shape?
