    out of tank one,otherwise known as high pressure pump
    not sure how you would know without gauges,im not even sure how much this valve is, someone will know ,if its fairly cheap it may be worth replacing

    hey but, if it was a faulty non-return valve, would the problem occur after 5 hours since shutting off engine (when oil temp. is about 40 - 50C)?

    Hi
    Which one do you call no.1, gearbox end or cambelt end.

    #1 is cambelt end.

    i think a fuel injector test would be a good idea. pull all 4 out and drop into containers of equal size. next bridge the fuel pump relay, then manually lift the metering flap all the way up then release. check the spray pattern is a nice even cone shape on all 4. disconnect the fuel pump relay bridge wire, then wipe the injector tips. there should be no drips for at least 5 minutes.
    check the volume delivered is roughly the same for all 4.

    if there is a problem on an injector, swap it with another one and repeat the test. if problem moves its injector, if not its metering head or fuel line. if an injector is faulty replace all 4.

    I'd like to do it, but I park my car in a "closed" parking so doing this would involve too much fire risk :(

    take your car anywhere you can,you dont even need an engine in to do this test so it can be done just about anywhere

    he said you dont even need an engine, not that you dont need a car. i.e., drive the car outside to do the test!

    :thumbup::lol:

    I can't do it, I can't stay anywhere near my home with the car outside due to risk of getting it stolen [:s]

    I may only be able to do it in a town my parents go at weekends, but if I make any fuelling adjustment I suppose the car won't work fine will it? And it's about 90 miles away from barcelona :lol:
