24hr party people 7/10 whistle stop tour of the Manchester music scene. Tried to film it in the moment, early 80s, until you spot a saxo driving by:lol:

    wtf!
    ?/10

    The green hornet:
was expecting much better with that budget, cgi was terrible in places and plot and direction was messy as hell.
    6/10

    The big lebowski:
think i'm a few years out to appreciate this, it's kinda cool, will have to watch again in one sitting.

Yeah we've seen it, I actually fell asleep! The acting is appalling! The second one has already been banned in the UK. [xx(]

Kung Fu Panda, stand by my rule of "if it features Jack Black in the cast its sh*t"

Or are you referring to Kung Fu Panda 2, which i haven't seen yet?

    Sucker Punch.

Samurai, nazi zombies, dragons, girls in short skirts firing silenced weapons.

All of that was great, the rest was utter ****. 6/10

    Transformers 3

Action, slo-mos, guns, cars, drama and girls - what more do you need?! A good enjoyable film as you would expect from Michael Bay. Nice nod to Leonard Nimoy early on in the film who voices Sentinel Prime (2 autobot are watching Star Trek). The films 2.5 hours long so get comfortable (although it doesn't feel that long).

    8.5 robots out of 10.

I told the wife it was "Spock" talking, also when bumble talks (he still has that damaged voice box) so uses mixed up sound clips & one of them (trekkie mode engaged) was from when spock speaks in one of the Trek films, some thing like "you are a good friend".

All the way through I was thinking it was aimed at the Japanese/Paedo market.

Very young looking lead in very very short skirts.

I'd give it 3/10. Pap and made me feel a little paedo'y. [xx(]

Tron 2 - Did I just see what I just watched? Possibly THE most "ripped off all ideas from first movie" film I have ever seen.

If you have seen the original and loved it (like I do) then Tron 2 merits an 8/10 (For just being Tron 2 and having Olivia Wilde in it)

    If you haven't seen the original Tron and/or if you're a lady Tron 2 gets a pap-worthy 4/10

    A couple of Paul Giamatti (him out of Sideways) films I've watched on flights recently;

    Win-Win - 8/10
Really good story, plenty of dark humour in there. Brilliant cast.
Worth a rental + bottle of wine with the gf.

    Barney's Version - 9/10
Loved this, a hilarious observation of a life. Again, superb cast. Rosamund Pike is just... incredible.
Dustin Hoffman pretty great in there too, will remember this film for a while.
