It's impossible to say, as you can't compare a side until they have played a few times against each other.

yes sutton is a better striker than heskey but heskey is there for a job.....a big scary forward.

if we wanted a quality striker we can pick between owen, rooney or vassel

sutton doesnt get a look in. and i know im right coz otherwise he would be there

 

bet half of the bulgaria team are postmen.

like i said it will be interesting to see how he does again 'world class' teams

 

If Larsson manages to do the business against a quality international side, then fair enough, but to my knowledge he has never done that.

 

Shearer - I am laughing. Nowhere even close to being amongst the best. Sutton has played with both, long term and rates Larsson higher. Despite playing for a "lowly" Scottish team, Larsson has managed to achieve the record for European goals for a British club side. Celtic were the first British team to win the European Cup. We have also been semi-finalists and quarter-finalists. And recently finalists of the UEFA cup.

How many sides have won the English league in the past 15 years? Isn't it a two team show as well?

Larsson has scored 30+ goles per season for 6 years. How many other strikers have scored 30+ in Scotland in the last Decade ??

What's that then? Italy, whom he scored against in 2000 World cup, 1st game back after a broken leg. Oh and he also scored in a 3rd place play-off of the World Cup in 1994.

every team has a bogey team....so ours is sweeden.

we are a far greater side than sweeden and it has been proven by how much further we make it in championships

'championship' thats the bit after the qualifing that scotland dont see much of.

 

Not really a two team show no, as apart from last season it has been run fairly close, not decided after half the season like in Scotland!
Larsson is clearly a good player to score that many, but he is probably the best player to go to the scottish league for years. He wouldn't even score twenty in the premiership. The standard is higher, surely even you can see that?
I believe that Pierre van Hooijdonk was very similar, did well for Celtic, came to Nottingham Forest, and didn't really last to long.

 

So what you are saying is that he has scored two goals against world class teams? I'm sorry you are clearly right he is the best striker in the world.

England are 13th in the world, Sweden are 18th.
Anyway, have you gone on to singing the praises of Sweden because the Scottish national side just aren't up to scratch?

Oh and btw, Scotland are ranked 55th behind Qatar and Honduras
