    Hi there,
Does anyone know where you can get double-sided tape that is waterproof from? Ive looked everywhere and i cant find anyone that states its waterproof. I use double sided Duck Tape on one door, and that works fine but I cant find it anywhere! Any ideas?

    Cheers

    its not double sided

Jus trim the membranes a fraction smaller and stick them on like normal - work fine.

Just remember to leave the membrane flap inside the door at the bottom so as to run the water into the door.

yeah, its pretty much the same stuff except its about 6 a roll.

i did the back quaters and front door and it cuts out so much road noise. also you can barely hear my loud stereo from outside.

one of the cheapest and best mods i have done! [:D]

I think I got mine from Rymans stationers.
The double sided tape does a tidy job

Wow, and that really reduces noise?
    Is the tape water proof?

I'm really interested cos I do 350 motorway miles per week, and the noise is so loud somtimes, I cant have a conversation...

    What difference did you get?

    Cheers,

    Aren't membranes expensive?

I can see an ebay "super rare bargain" coming up...

yes its water proof, yes road noise is considerably less.

i am tempted to do the boot aswell but just the doors is enought to make a big difference!

when people shut my car door they always comment on how solid the car feels!

live life on the edge....go for it
