I've seam welded the wishbones today at work.

Also threw them in one of the ovens we make for 45 minutes at 200 degrees and then slowly allowed them to cool - so they are now seam welded and de-stressed.

Will paint tomorrow and fit the Prothane bushes.

It might not make any - but it might make a bit.

To be honest it's cost nothing - only 5 mins of time i get paid for anyway. So it seems stupid to put in solid top mounts, posh coilovers and Poly bushes and potentially have 'some' flex in the wishbones.

And Motorhead - the ovens we make don't do bread. We have 3 that VW Motorsport forged pistons pass through, 4 that Seat intercoolers pass through for drying, 1 that williams F1 carbon fibre nose cones get cured in, 1 that Ferrodo race brakes pads get de-embrittled in.... ;)

HIJACK! I have wider track courtesy of my et 24 bbs wheels/ Why does my car now handle crap? The higher et I use, the better it handles. The best I have had is on et 38 wheels of the same diameter (15 inch). It now understeers badly even with my quaiffe.

It's to do with the scrub radius and kpi.

Do a web search, it'd take me a day to explain.
