OK, cheers. I'll get on the lookout for a mk4 loom and ECU.

The other thing I'm wondering is can I use a V5 gearbox on the R32? Is there any benefit over using the VR box?

I seem to think people fit the V5 box to the VR as an upgrade.

FD in the VR5 gearbox is 3.9 with the same gear ratios as the CCM or even CDA.

And R32 engine is capable of 240+lbft due to the engines sheer size. So if my recalibrated lard arsed 12v on the GS dyno can achieve near 190lbft and still shift the car on the original 3.39FD box, you can only imagine what a shot of 50lbft would do it it. Plus with 7000rpm on tap a car like this would make an easy 155mph+ bahn stormer.

I'm waiting on a photo so I can see exactly whats included with a 2007 BUB engine. Its advertised as complete engine box loom and ECU but i'd like to see it first.

I'm thinking of the V5 box so I can sell my engine/box/loom and ecu as a complete package.

it would be handy if it did fit

ps mine still has the mk5 fuel rail fitted but with the 4motion regulator plumped in
you just take out the schrader valve out the end
as mine had the wrong fuel rail and did not fit
i will change it come time

Should also be the same as the A3 3.2.
Likewise I have these as well and can check later if John's ETOS/ELSAwin does not come up with anything.

Might be helpful to get me an ECU part number, both Bosch and VW to aid inquires.
