Cheers Neil - now get back and finish yours

Greg, I've decided to hang on to the Ibiza now - had a Mk5 TDI on order but decided I couldn't justify the $$$ yet [:s] Cheers

    I'd rather stick a Mk5 2.0 TDi with DSG into a Mk1....

Farrrk, where have I been in the last four months [:$] [xx(]

Lots of progress since... engine bay painted, motor build up nearly complete - just need to find a bloody auxilary belt to drive the ABF without PAS and A/C - anyone know the size?!?!

I've also designed completely custom engine mount brackets that will drop the motor 16mm to counter the block height/bonnet clearance, plus I want to run a Supersprint or Techtonics manifold and don't want to ruin it welding 16mm of metal in the middle :p It's been hard finding 02A gearbox mounts, but got some in the end... now I've only used them as a template to design my custom drop mounts [:$]

I've got some minted ContiSport Contact2 195/45/15s on my wheels, brand new complete seal kit, poly bushes, crystal crosshairs, brand new palamino colour carpet kit, KW V2 coilies (on order), brackets made up to fit my 11" G60 brakes.

I've rebuilt and lackered the steering rack and brake mech etc etc.... I have a lot of pics to take but am keen to get the thread going again :p

Once I get a drive belt for the motor, it's ready to be dropped in. I'm also going to paint the rest of the car myself - I can get a pretty good finish now so figure I should save the money...

I'll be back with tonnes of pics soon [:D]

Cheers for the comments :p The wheels came from Carshine.com.au in Melbourne, Australia. They're unavailable now AFAIK but you could probably find them in the UK somewhere...?
