Got a new fuse box coming this week as the original has had it I think, no lights or anything [:s] a few little bits and pieces to finalise now, hopefully with an extra hour of daylight after work now! It should be ready for a Mot next week

Ok, new fuse box fitted. I now have wipers & headlights working but I do have a bit of a problem with front and side indicators the OS wing indicator says on all the time no flashing, just on? the rear indicators work as they should, so a bit more work on that next weekend.

Hotgolf has nearly finished my recon 02A with new LSD [:D] so I'm trying to get everything else ready

I've finished the oil drain from the turbo it was a bit tricky to get it our of the way of both drive shaft and brace

You can see on the right where the bolts holding the downpipe on are missing, badger5 recommended trying Nortlocks which I put on just after I took this photo, so hopefully they will stay tight now.

Is that drain big enough. I'd expect to use -10 pipe. Can't tell but looks smaller.

Is that oil buzzer meant to be going off? Not as loud as I expected. Looks like I'll be getting a straight centre section gor my exhaust.

What management are you running? is that an atmospheric DV?

So your not expecting it to run well without recirculating the dumped air?

It runs perfectly well - the throttle is closed when the air is dumped, and therefore the tps is at 0% and engine in heavy (25inches+) vacuum happily coinciding with the same time the map is in overrun fuel cut mode and delivering zero fuel - worst case it runs a tiny bit rich for a millisecond or so.

Nice vids, loved revving my mk2 20vt when i first got it fired up! Sounded exactly the same.

My forge DV was just as loud as that atmos you have.

Well I've been driving it and I'm totally in love!

There are a few bits to sort out, it runs badly with the MAF plugged in but ok without? I have a flashing oil light as I need to connect up both mk2 oil pressure switches.
I'm amazed at how well its gone. A BIG thankyou to CGTi and everyone that's helped.

    Really looking forward to Inters....
