    design fault [:o)]
got all hoses and bends in 2,25" since the connectors on the ic is 2,25" but couldnt get hold of 2,25 piping fast and cheap enough to get things finished in time.

    things done yesterday:
    - finished wiring (only need to connect coil to start)
    - changed all rubber o-rings on fittings to fuel resistant ones _NO_ Leaks @ 7bar, good enough since im runnig 4 at the most, most likely 3.
    - reversed the wiring on TPS
    - tested the WB lambda.
    - broke the the rotor 10seconds before i planned to test start [:x]

the details will be done in the winter before season starts.

    - sand blast and powdercoat all suspension parts.
    - remove all undercoating i wheel wells and under the car before painting
    - better piping
    - OMP bucket seats
    - electric windows

    whohoooo flames
First turn of the key (after checking oil pressure ofcourse ;) )
The turbo is scheduled at the shop to be finished and shipped back on Monday ;)

so the todo list is getting shorter:
    - rear brake lines
    - driveshafts
    - bolt in strut brace
    - beat up my painter, and paint the doors and fenders my self
    - re-weld the mk3 recaro frame 15mm wider

hooked up some coolant hoses and a temporary exhaust system.
starts right up and idles fine with a little fine tuning

but it stays at 10.1-11 ish AFR and stutters and dies when trying to accel, so still need some tuning to kill some bugs.

exhaust semi finished, just need to add a muffler to dampen the sound a little ;) 2,5" is quite tight over the rear beam, cant quite understand how some say they run 3" and not rubbing the axle?

engine still runs very rich, i can`t seem to get it to lean out so need to call someone to look at it :)

ordered 12 spark plugs, as it seems to be needed when trying to fix my fueling :p
Running Champion RC7YC (direct alternative to NGK BKR7E i my list)

oh it`s beginning to get real f.... close [eek]

replaced my "good" helpers with some new ;) clutch wasent releasing, changed master & slave nothing better.
removed gearbox 2330 last night, one silly f... bit from a rivet tool wedged between the springs on the pressure plate.
gearbox in again and working 0345 in the morning, got some sleep went to work at 0645.
need to get some more work done tonight, changing the lambda sensor and hope its the sensor and not the controller.

i said i should have a couple of months off from the garage, but i just cant stop making plans for this damned car :p

    Needs to be done:
    - mount the last panels
    - mount the arches and trim
    - remove engine and paint the engine bay/ maybe semi clean and a little more tucking of wires
    - new zeitronix wideband o2 w/ lcd display (INNOVATE LC-1 SUCKS :p even hooked up with two separate grounds it died before i even got the car out of the garage :/ )
    - mk3 dash going in now as i got time for it
    - half rollcage
    - "VWMS" shifter
    - Triangulated bars on rear beam ( i dont need it, i want it most for looks ;p yes im childish i know )
    - OMP TRS seats
    - 4 pt harness
    - electric windows (nothing screams racing more than added weight ;P )
    - black headliner ( with the OMP seats im allowed to have one without rubbing the roof ;) )

so except for some missing seals, the car exterior is complete :)

bought a new shifterbox and cables, from a 99 beetle, as it still uses a 02A, and from what i see in ETKA its a bit lower than the mk3 box i have now

whooop trying to bring this back from the dead :p

not finished or driven yet, fixing som minor and some major bugs(mainly im the biggest bug)
as i havent been able to get it mapped or sorted out the clutch issue (not releasing, even with new master and a few difrent slaves)
i stressed to get the car rolling before a local vw meet and threw a vr6 in, before realising the vr6 ecu i got was fried :p

so now it stands without engine, started to clean the bay and prep it for paint, this season is FUBAR! for the jetta.

Megasquirting the VR6 throwing it in the mk3 to get some tracktime for now ;)

as the Norwegian "MOT" has become much stricter than before i have decided to not have my car on the road other than with test plates legal for one day at a time.
And rather just make it a track car for driving on the two big yearly VW Audi meets at Vaalerbanen & Rudskogen.

Any recomandations on suspension and other modifications i "must" do to have a little fun at the tracks?
