I'm toying with the idea of getting a fuel pressure test kit sent over from the States (look here) and was wondering if there'd be much interest here for any more. I've not had a quote on shipping yet, but it may well be cheaper if it was combined.

    Anyone else interested?

I bought a kit off ebay for 50 - a 2nd hand Sykes Pick master kit job.

Keep your eyes peeled, and they do come up occasionally.

If you're buying from the states S&G Tool Aid do a Kjet specific kit for about USD 100, or at least they used to, although stockists are hard to find. I was going to buy one until I found mine on ebay.

Yeah, it was the article in PPC that put me onto JC Whitney. Saying that I'm still waiting for them to get back with shipping costs..

If you get the price I'll be happy to chip in some of the cost in return for the occasional loan of it, I'm only up the road from you.

That's a total bargain, as long as they'll do international shipping.

They're probably cheap to clear the last of the stock, as KJet isn't that common any more. I wouldn't wait too long.

The other advantage of the discount is that you might be under the limit for import duty.

I was about to place an order few days ago as per ppc recommendations from states, total bargain!

Should we get some combined shipping quotes from them?

Okay, I've been quoted $127.99 US to supply and ship a single unit. This doesn't cover import duty/tax/VAT/Gordon Brown's bailout fund

    At todays exchange-rate thats 69.53 plus VAT = 81.70

If several were ordered, then the initial shipping cost rises, but is distributed across all of them, so for example 6 units, the total cost would be $442.94 or 40.08 plus VAT = 47.09

The shipping costs are actually greater than the value of the kit!

My requirement for this kit seems to have disappeared now that a project/deal I was working on has turned sour, but I'm happy to either pass on the details or offer further advice if required.

I would definately be up for one of these...maybe this should be touted as a potential Group Buy?
