sorry, missed the original request. To confirm, just been under the car.

On reflection, my comments regarding engine temp were due to running without a fan at the time, now have a slimline electric one with override switch, so no issues. I have also adjusted the position of the oil cooler. Still looking at options to reduce heat soak from the turbo, not too keen on cutting vents in the bonnet though.

To summarise: clean engine bay, no squealing power steering belt in the rain and reduced noise:thumbup:

    Regards, Grant

That does look like a good fit GT3.
And it will keep the snow out now that winter is here.

Your welcome James [:D] although its the 1st & last time i'm gonna sell one reason being its the DIRTIEST thing to clean and very awkward to package up

There is a liner as said before, sort of thin plastic backed foam, this just soakes up engine oil with dirt/grit etc..[:x] no use imo.
Having run a couple of toledos which these are from, most don't have the tray still fitted. models with air con do have a larger radiator fitted but without the tray fitted run very cool all the time [:s]
Make of that what you will, just passing on some info

Fees are 1.63 all the gift does is makes the person sending the money pay for the fees, I do not mind cheque or bank transfer, pm me for details.

It looks like there's 11 fixing holes altogether and i'll require the insert nuts listed on Vagcat, 811 807 577 C. Can anyone confirm the fixing screws that will be needed?

Good news for those people that were interested in the Seat Toledo tray. I may be able to order some, they will cost more than the golf one but will update when I have an exact price. I was thinking of ordering 5 initially but may order more if there is enough interest.

no worries Alan, still havnt fitted mine, need to make up a suitable front panel as I have big bumper I checked and there is a gap between the brackets on the cross member and the tray.
