The 2.0L 16V FSI Head has gear set up on the cams similar.
Same Design as The Sport Quattro Head, the first 4V engine in the VAG Range !

I was just mentioning the inlet ports being bridged the other day.
Here is a similar corresponding inlet manifold.
Is the was flange blanked of on this one? can't see it.
and have the inlet been reworked for better valve angle ? if so have the exhaust ports been reworked ?
Presume you mean front water outlet off head Brooky? I am not sure. Looks like it could be.
The inlet ports do look like they have been raised in the head though. The gap between ports and certain mounting holes is different from standard for sure. Injector recess filled too.

Sorry, maybe is the wrong place for posting, but I have a short (maybe a silly) question:
What is the best combination of parts for obtaining the optimum (higher) performances by mixing the blocks, cilinder heads, crankshafts, pistons and conecting rods for a turbo setup, using the following engines: PG, KR, ADY, 9A, 2E (the 4-cyl engines mounted on Corrado).
If it is possible (and if someone will answer me) please be so kind to tell me the BHPs (tq) outputs for some variants.

Notice the breather on the 1st cam cover pic, looks like its cast in, as opposed to tigged on? Hard to see it right...

Mike Tarr (Ratt Racing) built Volkswagen 16v engine producing 205bhp@7600rpm
1800 KR block, Kolben Schmit forged pistons (11.8:1CR), forged G60 crank, 1.8T forged con rods, Schrick sump, windage tray. Dave Crissel ported large port (026 casting) cylinder head, 283/279 Cat Cams with adjustable pulley, Iskenderian valve springs and retainers, lightweight hydraulic lifters, lightened and balanced pistons, rods and crank assembly with Helix sprung paddle clutch.
Suzuki 48mm tapered throttle boddies on bespoke pulse tuned and port matched inlet manifold, Jenvey 120mm trumpets, ITG Megaflow filter, 250cc Bosch injectors, 1.8T fuel rail with Aeroquip stainless steel braided fuel hoses, Omex 600 ECU and tailored Loom (complete with manual, software and UBS Windows XP setup)
Supersprint Group A exhaust comprising stainless steel 4-2-1manifold and 2.5 system, fitted with lambda boss and hung on stainless steel wire mountings.
OE Mk1 GTI fuel tank, Facet pump feeding a Mk2 16v swirl pot with nitrile rubber and copper nickel pipework thorough. Can run very low levels with no fuel starvation.
Bespoke aluminium radiator (204x800) with a 50mm Pace core, Aluminium header tank , silicone hoses, bespoke aluminium fabricated water outlets and 74deg thermostat. Mocal 235x16row oil cooler with Aeroquip hoses and constant flow sandwich plate.
