Were you driving the boat away from the dock as your poor sister stepped onto it? On purpose?

I feel almost as sorry for your sister as I do for your mother. I expect both are normal, attractive, intelligent women who have the misfortune to be related to some less-than-normal family members.

No, it wasn't tied up and she went to get off - splat. Funnily enough she did the same thing at the landing stage - soaked to the knees for a nice 2 hour drive home.
Then managed to sprain her ankle on dry land, just carrying a sleeping bag to the Golf! Happily her foxy mate who was there is a doctor, and decreed that Sis should drive home, as foxy friend had forgotten her contact lenses.

I've been to the very first IKEA, in north Sweden. I got lost and frustrated there too.

So Bristolfish, what did Daved buy in IKEA?

    edit: apart from hot dogs

It says here that your old Saabs didn't come with a hotdog heater, not even as an extra!

I told you not to mention the S*** word! Now look how it's affected his mind. Poor Mrs D bundled up on the roof rack, wrapped in plastic and no doubt a few weights......

Saab did not use the same engine as DKW![:x] The Saab engine was far superior. Audi could not build engines in those days.[8(]

The Saab Shown is a 750 GT. The best 750cc car ever built![:*:]

Saab extras in those days were:

Sump Shield. Rally Seats. Halda 'Twin Master'.

Should I get my hair cut in an attempt to woo a woman?

I have shoulder length blond / brown hair, it is a little unkempt at the moment it has to be said.
Should I stick with it, hoping she likes the fact I am not bald or grey.
Or, will the boring short back and sides route be the way forward?

I am thinking that playing the "a bit different card" could be the way forward myself.

This post is useless without pics. ;)

What the hell is wrong with being bald and/or grey? [:x]
Some of the fairer sex think of these attributes as a sign of manliness, better in fact than being some wild-haired hippy. :p

By all means play the "different card", but she'll see through it pretty quickly. As soon as you mention valves/cams/suspension geometry, you're f***ed, (not in a good way). [:v:]

I though Miss Daved was off gallivanting with some Canadian lumber jacks or something.[:s] Not sure TSC will be happy about that when he finds out. He could start basing again, or worse still, the Tequila may come out the drinks cabinet. :o
Poor Sally, but work for the A&E folks all the same.

How can you be grey if you are bald?
Never got that old grey attraction before. I certainly do not eye up the older ladies myself.

I will not talk about cars and stuff when with her. I will dance, sing and read poetry. :o
