    Thanks very much karmann.

I'll have to start selectively breeding the cats to get them as massive as the one in the first picture. :o

I wonder if the monorail cat is commercially available? [:D]

I'll get onto the manufacturers, they've probably got other items in their catalogue.

Bristolfish, do you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit? If like me you do then there's a Club you can join although annoyingly the advert didn't tell me what the Club was called. Seems a bit of an over sight not to mention the Club name after all how can you join a Club when you don't know what Club is called?

Sorry guys, I don't watch any more adverts than I really have to. :p

Having said that, I do like a lot of chocolate on my biscuits.

...and peanut butter on my undercarriage. [:|]

You'd be surprised how good a club actually is.

We tried them not long ago after a long absence from club enjoyment, also partial to a wee penguin or two now and again.

Penguins are the shizzle, bite the ends off and use it as a straw to drink tea through and then gobble the biscuit up - happy days

I've been giving this some further thought. What happens if the plane isn't at a constant velocity? Say it's accelerating, imagine jumping in that scenario, you will be at the plane's velocity the instant you jump, but the plane will acccelerate away from you. The longer you stay airborn the further the plane will have moved away from you, so you'll land further back. Won't you? [:s]

I imagine that at any given moment a plane will either be accelerating or decelerating, not at a constant velocity. Therefore as per Jon P's original question, the answer would be yes, you would change your position, even relative to the plane. I think. [:[]

No, sorry, you're both wrong. The only way this should be performed is with a Tim Tam.
Obviously having Natalie Imbruglia there to demonstrate might add something to the experience...

My experience of flying must be different from yours. I find that other than ascent to- and descent from cruising altitude, planes spend feckin ages at constant drone/speed.

My experiences are much the same.

But I wouldn't think the constant speed is actually constant, not if it were measured accurately.
There would be variables; such as engine output, wind speed etc. :)
